The Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830

What strikes you instantly is its stylish design accentuated by its onyx black skin. The edges were rounded and its finish was so glossy I could see my reflection. Once I held it in my hands, the feel was perfect. Thanks to its dimensions (59.9 x 112.4 x 11.5 mm) and light weight (113 grams) the Galaxy Ace did not bring out any discomfort while holding it and typing on the touchscreen.

The Good, The Bad And The S5830

The Pros

Let’s start off with the good. The Galaxy Ace, if you haven’t heard about it enough, is beautiful. But there is more than meets the eye with this smartphone. Being in business requires me to have as many contacts as needed. From personal relations to business partners and to pizza deliveries, I have all their numbers stored in my phonebook. The memory is so large that it seems like I would run out of contacts and friends before I run out of phonebook space. Even if I have tons of contact details in my Galaxy Ace, it still is easy to look for them. Since we’re on the topic of easiness, the same can be said about its touchscreen. I can’t risk wasting time typing messages to send out to clients. With my Galaxy Ace’s 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touch screen, typing and sending out messages are a breeze. The graphics are no pushover too as it uses 16 million colors and has a 320 x 480 pixel resolution.

My smartphone’s 5.0 megapixel camera with LED flash and 2x digital zoom comes in really handy during these times. What’s more impressive about this built-in camera is I can make adjustments as necessary using Auto Focus, Face and Smile Detection, Geo-tagging, Image Editor, Photo Effects, Shot Mode, and White Balance.

I also love its ThinkFree feature. With it, I can prepare some of the documents I need for work. I can view my files, create new ones and edit my documents using Microsoft Office.

Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 has a sharp interface that connects the dots made by your finger to figure out. Also with its advance ThinkFree feature, one can easily edit, view and create Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and more documents.

The Cons

One problem with the Galaxy Ace is that I can’t get some games to work. Not that it matters since I seem to be always busy with work and my family. Any lone time I get I’d rather spend sipping beer beside the pool or on the beach, anyway.

Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 Accessories

Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830You can also purchase different accessories for your Galaxy Ace. For that extra protection, there different kinds of cases are available specifically for the Galaxy Ace. While browsing, I found some neat weather-resistant cases and crystal ones. I’m really careful with my gadgets that is why I also got an anti-glare skin. If you’re always on the go like I am, you can get your smartphone a Micro USB Retractable Car Charger. I once had the misfortune of leaving my charger at home during a long trip. Good thing though that I had my car charger so I still got to make some important calls.

From its sleek design to its infinite phonebook memory and to the many apps I was able to download, this smartphone is one smart buy. In fact, getting the Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830 is perhaps one of the best decisions I ever made.
